WHEN I FIRST MET HER

It’s the time of winters. We have been together for a month now yet we have never really met in person but we have made a strong bond.We both stay up late and talk to each other for hours and hours. It’s almost like I’m with her. Everything was the same when one fine day.

She called me. I was surprised when I picked her call because she finally asked me out on a date. At that moment I was filled with joy and excitement that I wasn’t able to say anything to her, my heart was beating so fast I have never 

felt this particular feeling which is hard to describe. It was a happy moment for me. I finally said yes to her. I felt a number of things all at once and I could tell it was same for her. Everything was decided the date, venue and timing almost everything was taken care of. It also seemed like she had planned everything from the beginning and was just waiting for me to say yes.

The day finally arrived when we were about to meet. I was filled with excitement and because of that I wasn’t able to sleep last night. When I wake up, firstly I went to take shower then came the dressing part, I’m not really good at dressing but I decided to go with formals. I didn’t know what she is going to wear but I wanted to look perfect.

Delhi is the city of love [dilli h dilwalo ki]. Everyone must have heard this famous line. Until now I was on time, I took the metro.Unfortunately I skipped three station ahead from mine because I was just thinking about her that how should I present myself to her. So I was late on our first date. I finally reached there, our eyes met. The very first look…….eyes, hair, dress made me stand there like a statue with a smile on his face. It felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest. The unexplainable beauty, no words were left to match the level of her beauty.

That moment got awkward because there were a lot of people were around us and they were looking at me. She knew I was not going to move from there so she decided to came to me and take me to our table. She took my hand in her hand and just told me it’s ok, come with me. I was mesmerised in her deep black eyes, her long curly hairs. The glow of her face made everything around brighter. For me she looked like the most beautiful girl in the whole universe.

Then we started talking, we had our lunch then we decided to go for a walk.

We held each other’s hand, walking slowly, she had all control over my breathe, mind, heart. I was lost in her. We were happy and were living in the moment. She loved the way I expressed myself to her. She was also completely into it. We walked for hours, the weather was good. 

Now our date came to an end…it’s not the end. We met again and again. During her colleges I went to see her, she came to see me at my office. We used to surprise each other. And years passed, we got married to each other. Yes we did it. The feeling of getting married to the first love of your life is unexplainable. God gifted me the best thing ever in my life, and happily we are going to have our first child super soon.
